Greetings Region VIII!!
Welcome to the Region 8 website! We’ve been hard at work getting our region in order. And, I am quite excited to have been elected your new Region 8 Coordinator at the National Conference in October. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. For those unfamiliar with the Regional Coordinator, my job is to serve as a resource person, promote NODA membership and participation, work with the board to represent Region VIII, promote/assist in regional conference development and serve as a liaison between national and regional levels of NODA. I am very excited and I have a lot of ideas! Most importantly, I want to hear your ideas on how to bring our region together!
We will be working together for the next three years and I foresee our Region growing in leaps in bounds! There are plenty of opportunities for involvement from formal positions such as state coordinators and conference chairs to informal positions such as assisting with a conference or writing an article for our newly established newsletter. Don’t hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns about NODA Region VIII at any time. Your ideas and thoughts are appreciated!
I am looking forward to a wonderful three years as your Regional Coordinator and for plenty of opportunity to prove that we truly are region Gr8!
